Questify ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Questify mobile applications (Questify Student, Questify Staff, Questify Parent) and the website questify.zone. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

Account Information: Name, email address, and password provided during registration. For child accounts created by a parent, we also collect the child's age.
Usage Data: Lessons completed, game scores, progress data, and feature usage within our apps.
Device Information: Device type (iOS/Android) and push notification identifiers for delivering notifications.
Communication Data: Text messages, photos, files, and voice messages sent through the in-app chat.
Media Access: With your permission, we access your camera, microphone, and photo library for sending photos and voice messages in chat.
Payment Data: When paying for a subscription, your full bank card details are processed directly by our payment provider. Questify receives only the masked card number (for example, 4400****1234), the amount, status, and transaction date.

3. Push Notifications

We use OneSignal to deliver push notifications. You can configure which types of notifications you receive (lesson reminders, booking updates, feedback) in the app settings, or disable them entirely through your device settings.

4. Third-Party Services

We do not sell your personal information. We use the following third-party services to operate our platform:

OneSignal — for delivering push notifications.
OpenAI — for AI-powered answer checking and feedback. Your lesson answers may be processed by OpenAI to provide corrections and explanations.
Daily.co — for live video lessons between students and teachers.
Cloudflare — for secure storage and delivery of uploaded media files.
АО «Фридом Банк Казахстан» (FreedomPay) — for processing bank card payments. As a PCI DSS-certified provider, the bank processes full card details (number, expiry date, CVC) on its own infrastructure. Questify does not receive or store full card details.

Student progress data is shared with assigned teachers and linked parent accounts as part of our educational service.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), secure token-based authentication, and encrypted storage of sensitive information.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

7. Children's Privacy

Our service may be used by children under the supervision of their parents or teachers. Child accounts can be created by a parent or staff, and we collect only age (not date of birth), name, and email. We do not collect any unnecessary personal data from children. Parent accounts can view, manage, and request deletion of their children's data at any time.
